We spent something like 6 weeks in Sydney, with a short trip to Cairns to check out the Great Barrier reef. Sydney is cool, but very expensive.
After visiting so many countries where simple things like booking public transport, or paying by card are a massive hassle, getting to Australia where everything is online and cash is rarely used, felt great. It's 2023, stop fucking around pretending you're only accepting cash for anything other than tax avoidance.
I spent most of my time in Sydney working on Not Bothered agency. For anybody who's interested, it's going very well.
