I've visited 18 countries since I last made a YouTube video. Why?
We left Cambodia in June 2022, landed in Bangkok, stayed a couple of nights then flew to Zurich in Switzerland. My last video was from Cambodia, check it out below.
Cambodia is an interesting place, and I thought the videos were worth watching. Maybe the last one needed something else to happen, but Phnom Penh isn't the most exciting place to make content. However, we were flying back to Europe, then onwards to the UK to do some stuff we needed to do - bank cards, new passports and so on.
Tanya needed to sort some stuff out with opening her new business - Artenko. She now runs a digital agency specialising in designing characters and environments for mobile games in 2D or 3D and also offering web and app design.
After landing in Zurich, we decided to visit the surrounding countries and you can read about that in a different blog.
We visited Dublin and Belfast. We went to a few cities in the UK, then we flew out the country and visited some more European countries.
I'm done with making European content, it gets low views and just isn't worth the hassle. The viewers don't want to watch it, I don't want to make it - leave that to others who are happy with 1000 view videos.
The first trip out of Europe was to Dubai to sort some stuff out with Kurt. Again, Dubai isn't a place I'm interested in making content.
Anyway, we flew from London to Singapore, staying 3 days, doing some tourist stuff and enjoying like a holiday. Not the place for my type of content. Singapore is a cool place, but if you're making content there, it'd be more of a travel guide type video.
We then flew to Langkawi in Malaysia. Although the videos I made in Malaysia didn't struggle to get views, for my amount of subscribers anyway, I just didn't fancy making any videos there, it was just a tourist island, nothing super interesting, just some cool tourist stuff.
Exactly the same reason for Phu Quoc in Vietnam.

The plan is to make better content, rather than just making videos for the sake of it. Only making videos I actually enjoy to make.
