Langkawi Island in Malaysia
Due to visa issues in Singapore, basically Tanya can't stay very long and needs an exit air ticket, we just bought a ticket to Malaysia. We've already been and didn't really plan on returning so soon, but we had never been to Langkawi, and there were direct flights from Singapore, so why not, it's supposed to be nice.
It was, very nice indeed.
I can see why lots of people visit Langkawi. It rained a lot because of the season, but it was still very hot and the beaches were nice. We took this terrifying cable car up to the sky bridge. Cool views, but I did not appreciate the journey.

We flew to Kuala Lumpur, stayed the night, then flew to Vietnam for the first time.
