Albania: A country ravaged by a pyramid scheme with a pyramid right in the centre

This was mine and Tanya's first country during Covid together (obviously except Ukraine), so it was special to us as we'd been separated for 4-5 months due to lockdown.

We only stayed in Albania for like 6 nights, but it was cool. We stayed in Tirana, which is a cool city with decent stuff to do. We visited a bunker that had been converted into a museum of sorts. We took a bus to Durres which is like a seaside resort.

Albania seems to be far behind the times when it comes to accepting debit or credit cards. Literally nowhere wants to take card payments. I understand that it's to avoid tax, but that's not my problem. I choose not to use a company's services if they don't accept card in general - I don't want to pay the fee to take cash out, just so you can avoid paying a bit of tax. But in Albania, it was literally impossible except in Supermarkets.

Probably won't go back to Albania again as it was my second time after driving from south to north in the country a few years ago.
