Climbing a mountain to cross illegally from Croatia to Bosnia through a minefield

In this photo above, you see the view I had from the mountain I climbed, where the peak has an unmanned border between Bosnia and Croatia, however, it's very dangerous as there are mines throughout both countries, which would kill you, or if you were lucky, just blow your legs off.

I can't not try to cross a border when I see it - it's a bit of a problem.

Anyway the view was sick. I ended up trying to take a shortcut back down to Dubrovnik where I ended up falling down a lot, ripping my legs apart and stuff - not cool. Should have just walked the way I came.

I'd been to Croatia before, to Dubrovnik in fact on a solo road trip around the Balkans, but Tanya had never been, and Dubrovnik is a super touristy place, so she enjoyed being there for a few days. We had a cool apartment just outside the city in this marina.

I'd return to Croatia, just not to Dubrovnik again.
