Trieste used to be a country, it's now a part of Italy. We checked out this small city on the border of Croatia and Slovenia, as well as visiting Venice and staying the mountains outside of Verona.

Iceland is a cool place. We hiked up a mountain to check out the volcanic eruption that happened recently near Reykjavik.

Wizz Air cancelled flight from Poland

Wizz Air cancelled our flights 10 minutes before departure so we had to get a 5 hour train to another city. Am I due compensation?

Riga was better than expected

Latvia is one of the last countries in Europe that I needed to visit, just 3 of the small countries then two terrorist states left, which I won't be visiting as they don't count as countries right now IMO.

Kaunas. Papped by a fan.

I was spotted by a fan wandering the streets of Kaunas in Lithuania. It's not the first time it has happened, but it stills feels mad that people know who I am.

Back to Europe. 5 countries in 5 days.

We found a flight back to Europe from Bangkok for £236 each. Bangkok to Zurich, which flew overnight, allowing us to completely beat jet lag. We left Bangkok at about 1 am, had some food on the plane, fell asleep, albeit very broken sleep for me.

Angkor Squat and stuff

We had 3 weeks booked in Cambodia, arriving in Siem Reap for the main reason of visiting Angkor Wat, which for some reason isn't part of the Wonders of the world. I'd say it's far more impressive than the Colosseum or Big Jesus.

A month in Malayia with a visit to Borneo

Whilst we were in Thailand, we found out that Malaysia had finally re-opened for tourists, and although we had a ticket to Vietnam, it turns out it'd be too difficult to get a visa for Tanya, as she needs one to enter Vietnam. The time restraints we had in Thailand meant that we'd run out of time.
